About Me

I am a hobbyist programmer working towards my degree in software engineering. I am also an experienced mathematics and english tutor; if you are looking for academic help, please find the "Tutoring" tab in the navigation bar.

I have been writing code since as long as I can remember, but I moved on from making the little scratch guy move into designing applets and playable games in 2016. Ever since then, my skills have been steadily improving. Currently, I have strong and well developped experience in the following:

When I'm not in school or working on homework, I like to learn new programming skills, practice my beading, and play wheelchair basketball.

FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC)

"FIRST exists to prepare the young people of today for the world of tomorrow." The FRC is a competition that challenges students to design and create a robot which will compete against robots made by teams from around the world.

The challenge requires a team to be able to fundraise, design, engineer, create, and program in order to get their robot ready for competition.

Since no one person can do all of this alone, teams will have to excersise teamwork, leadership, cooperation, and gracious professionalism.

The combination of these skills in order to reach a real-world goal is the perfect experience for getting students ready for the real world.

Team #8339: Penticton Robotics

As a member of the Penticton Robotics team, I managed communications between members and also provided support in assembly, design, and fundraising.

This develloped not only strong communication skills, but also important tools for extinguishing conflict and mediating disagreements.

It was not unusual for highschool students to have drama and disagreements were all to common in the stressful period that was the preparation of the robot, but this stress and these disagreements forced us to develop a level of professionalism and mediation skill if we wanted to complete our project before the deadline.

Personal Sentiments

Overall, I am very happy to have participated in the FRC, I have grown as a person and as a professional, I have gained lifelong friends, I will forever have a proud memory as a member of the team, and I met bbno$.

If you are looking for help in trigonometry, calculus, linear algebra, or english literature and composition, please contact me either by phone or email as listed below or in the "Contact" tab and we can get an appointment scheduled.

If this is our first time working together, I will arrange a get-to-know-you appointment where we will introduce eachother and I will ask a few questions to help me build a personalized lesson plan.

Please note that if you are a TRU student, TRU offers free resources such as the math help center; my services focus on one-on-one personal support.
